I'm afraid you're presently on the wrong side of history. The nation of is fighting for survival against the naked Imperialist agression of dictator Putin. In the future it might be a good idea to start your counter-offensive against militaristic imperialism against the militaristic Empire waging a war of extermination against its smaller neighbor. Ukraine has a right to defend itself and its friends and allies as well against Russian aggression. Because aggression is exactly what it is. Its a war being fought on Ukrainian soil where Russias brutal army continues to try and grind away more territory and add the ashes to its annexed oblasts.
While I'm not so familiair with post WW2 history as you appear to be I'd say the Suez crisis(in which the UK tried to militaristically extent the Empire by invading a smaller nation) was decidedly more militaristic and Imperial in my opinion.
I am happy we see eye to eye on the Trumpian dictatorship rising in the US though that is scant consolation.
